New Managing Director for Bupa Australia

Bupa Asia Pacific Managing Director Dean Holden today announced that Mr Richard Bowden had officially taken over as Managing Director of the company.

Melbourne, VIC (PRWEB) December 3, 2008 -- Bupa Asia Pacific Managing Director Dean Holden today announced that Mr Richard Bowden had officially taken over as Managing Director of the company.

Bupa Australia is a leading Australian health and care company which provides health insurance and a range of complementary general insurance and financial services for more than 3 million Australians through the brands HBA, Mutual Community, MBF and ClearView.

Mr Bowden was previously Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for the company, which was formed following the merger of Bupa Australia and MBF.

The merger was the largest of its kind ever undertaken in Australia's private health insurance sector. It has created Bupa Australia, a truly national health insurance competitor which is committed to providing affordable health insurance that delivers significant value for its customers.

Mr Holden welcomed Mr Bowden to the role as Managing Director.

Mr Bowden replaces outgoing Managing Director, Mr Eric Dodd, who will become a Non-Executive Director of the Board of Bupa Australia.
