AttorneyOne.com, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and they are now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on Hip Replacement lawsuits and potential Hip Replacement Recall lawsuit.
According to court documents, on July 9, a woman filed a lawsuit in Michigan Western District Court (case no. 1:2013cv00741) alleging she suffered multiple complications from her hip implants. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she was implanted with the Stryker hip devices in both her hips and after the surgeries she experienced severe pain and discomfort. As she claims, revision surgery in both her hips will be required.
Another lawsuit was filed on March 25, by a couple in Idaho District Court (case no. 1:2013cv00149) alleging that the husband suffered serious complications from his hip replacement. In the lawsuit the plaintiff claims that he was implanted with the Zimmer Durom Cup in his right hip in 2006 and a few months later he underwent revision surgery after discrepancy with the length of his legs was discovered. A second revision surgery, in 2012, was required to address several complications and confirmed that the implant had failed.
Taking into consideration the latest developments, AttorneyOne.com updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in case of alleged Hip Replacement complications. Sean Burke, director of Media Relations at AttorneyOne.com, adds that the relevant information illustrates that people continue to file Hip Replacement lawsuits. "For that reason," he continues, "our focus should squarely fall on getting the word out and assisting people in finding the right legal assistance.”
Court data, updated on July 10, indicate that there are 159 actions pending in the Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II Hip Implant Multidistrict Litigation (MDL 2441, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota).
