New Jersey Mirena IUD Lawsuit Consolidation Moving Along, Rottenstein Law Group LLP Reports
Date:6/11/2013

(PRWEB) June 11, 2013

A recent consolidation of Mirena IUD lawsuits in New Jersey continues to move the included lawsuits along since the May 24 ruling that allowed for the cases to be handled collectively for pretrial procedures. A case management conference is scheduled for July 1. The Rottenstein Law Group LLP publicizes this information to assist those looking to file Mirena lawsuits and who are interested in learning more about the side effects of the birth control device.

More than 60 Mirena lawsuits were consolidated last month because they had common causes for suit, which allows for more efficient pretrial proceedings, according to court documents in In re Mirena Litigation (Case No. 297, Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County). The plaintiffs allege that their Mirena hormonal implants have caused them several side effects, including uterine perforation, device migration and pelvic pain, according to court documents.

“It is good for everyone involved that the multicounty litigation is moving apace in New Jersey,” said Rochelle Rottenstein, principal of the Rottenstein Law Group LLP. “These plaintiffs deserve the possibility of a speedy trial.”

The Rottenstein Law Group LLP encourages those with the Mirena hormonal IUD to visit this page to download a free informational brochure about the device and users’ eligibility to file a lawsuit.
