HairConfirm, a new home drug hair test kit designed to help parents combat teen drug use, is now available from Bartell Drugs

Seattle, CA (Vocus) June 11, 2009 -- HairConfirm, a new home drug hair test kit designed to help parents combat teen drug use, is now available from Bartell Drugs. The kit detects drug use for up to 90 days by analyzing small hair samples, providing a highly accurate and tamper-proof alternative to saliva and urine screenings that can detect drugs taken only in the last two or three days. It is also the first drug test to disclose the amount of each chemical identified and whether that indicates low, medium or high drug usage.

HairConfirm sells for $64.99, including the collection kit, prepaid UPS return envelope, lab fee, a detailed report available online within two business days after the sample is received, and a free counseling hotline. Customers without Internet access can opt to receive results by mail. More information is available at www.hairconfirm.com

HairConfirm screens for marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates and phencyclidines, including ecstasy, heroin, codeine, PCP and angel dust. Reports indicate positive or negative findings for each class of drug, specify the concentration levels of each drug for which results were positive, and show the ranges typically found in recreational, daily/weekend and constant users to help parents determine usage levels. Online results are accessed with a specimen ID number and passcode, preserving anonymity.

Tests are run on small hair samples cut close to the scalp and at least 1.5 inches in length to provide enough hair for a 90-day evaluation. A second test is per
