New Hair Product Line Addresses Common Scalp Conditions of Teens and Tweens
Date:4/7/2009

Tying in the natural association between teens and texting, Totally Texty became a marketable product line for teen and tween hair care.

"I began reading every teen blog on Internet speak to learn texting terms and came up with the name of the company and products. I hope teens and tweens feel that this product is made just for them with their interests at the forefront," states Mullican.

Not only does Totally Texty address the cosmetic needs of teen and tween hair care, k.w.l. Corp., has also done research into the potentially harmful chemicals found in most shampoos. Totally Texty is a Sodium Laurel Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate free shampoo. It also contains no parabens or DEA/TEA. Many articles have been published regarding the potential dangers of parabens. Totally Texty comes in recyclable shampoo bottles.

Currently, Totally Texty can only be purchased through the website, which also contains hair care information for this age group and informative articles. Check out totallytexty.com for more information or to place an order.

About Totally Texty and k.w.l. Corp.:
Based in Edwardsville, IL, Totally Texty is privately owned and operated by Sarah Mullican and Janynne Stahl, two local stay-at-home moms, who saw a gap in the teen hair care market and developed products to fill this void. Their website provides a venue to order the product as well as learn about hair care for teens and tweens. Sarah Mullican is the President and conducted the initial research for Totally Texty with Vice President Janynne Stahl, who contributes to the graphics, design, and website development.
