New Granuflo Cardiac Arrest Lawsuit: Now, AttorneyOne Can Provide Advice

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 30, 2013, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and it is now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on Granuflo Lawsuits.

According to court documents, on May 17, 2013 a daughter filed a lawsuit in Massachusetts District Court (case no. 1:2013cv11215) alleging that her mother suffered a fatal cardiac arrest caused by Granuflo and Naturalyte dialysis treatments. Granuflo, manufactured by Fresenius Medical Care, is an additive used in kidney dialysis to help patients maintain their bicarbonate levels which neutralize the acid buildup in the bloodstream during dialysis.

On April 23, 2013 the children of a woman filed a lawsuit in Louisiana Western District Court (case no. 5:2013cv00829) alleging that their mother died as a result of using Granuflo and NaturaLyte. In the lawsuit plaintiffs claim that, during hemodialysis at a Fresenius medical center, their mother suffered a cardiac event and she died of a heart attack a few hours later.

Taking into consideration the latest developments, updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in case of alleged Granuflo severe complications. Sean Burke, director of Media Relations at, adds that the relevant information illustrates that people continue to file Granuflo lawsuits. "For that reason", he continues, "our focus should squarely fall on getting the word out and assisting people in finding the right legal assistance.”

Court data updated on May 14, 2013, by the US Judicial Panel on Multi-District Litigation (MDL), indicate that there are 161 actions pending in the Granuflo/Naturalyte MDL (MDL 2428, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts). All the actions in the MDL involve similar allegations that plaintiffs suffered injury or death caused by the use of GranuFlo and/or NaturaLyte during hemodialysis, which allegedly may cause metabolic alkalosis in patients resulting in low blood pressure, hypokalemia, hypoxemia, hypercapnia, cardiac arrhythmia, or cardiopulmonary arrest. has further information on Granuflo lawsuits including how to get in contact with legal counsel.
