d Functionality for PDA Devices
Fastrack clients can now utilize virtually any PDA or combination of units including; Blackberry, Apple iPhone, Palm, Windows Mobile devices as well as Windows XP and Vista compatible tablet PCs and notebooks with the company’s Delivery Automation and Equipment Maintenance Tracking applications. The Delivery Automation Application allows the driver to capture delivery information including serial and lot numbers, cash collected and reasons for the refusal of items. The PDA’s automatically confirm the delivery real-time from the patient’s home or facility reducing staff time back in the office. Since the driver is scanning the bar code on the product he is also verifying it is the correct product ordered, eliminating delivery mistakes. PDA devices can also be used by Nurses and Respiratory Therapists to capture clinical data at the patient’s bedside and for capturing equipment maintenance information including equipment settings. In conjunction with the Fastrack Wireless Warehouse Module these devices can be used for order fulfillment in place of “paper” picking tickets, receiving and for physical inventory. Utilizing bar code technology, the order fulfillment function eliminates shipping the wrong product to the patient as each product picked is verified.

Increased Revenue with the Internet
Several new enhancements to Fastrack’s e-Commerce Storefront website include integrated order processing into the back office functions of the Fastrack HME Enterprise System. Orders placed on the Internet move seamlessly into the Fastrack durable medical equipment software eliminating the need to re-key order information, a major time saver that also reduces data entry errors. Fastrack offers the unique ability to capture the patient’s insurance, physician information and credit card information for co-pays unlike the typical storefront that only accepts credit cards.
