New Fastrack Technology Improves Productivity

Fastrack HME, DME, IV Billing Software incorporates major technology advances to reduce operating costs and improve efficiencies for homecare providers.

(Vocus) August 27, 2009 -- Fastrack announced today the availability of significant technology enhancements designed to improve productivity for homecare providers.

According to Spencer Kay, President of Fastrack Healthcare Systems, “the technology enhancements impact major portions of our HME Billing, DME Billing, Infusion Pharmacy and Homecare Agency software offerings including our Networking Web Portal and e-Commerce Storefront Modules, customer service, warehouse operations, dispatching/routing of vehicles and the entire delivery and order confirmation process. Fastrack’s integrated use of technology is designed to improve the efficiency of the home healthcare provider’s operation and help reduce operating costs.”

Automated Email Order Confirmation
The Fastrack Automated Workflow Manager™ now includes the ability to have the system automatically generate emails upon confirmation of delivery of an order including to facilities and wholesale accounts. The email can be customized by the user to include order and delivery information. Fastrack clients utilizing the Delivery Automation Application can send the order confirmation email right from the driver’s handheld device in the field. Sending order confirmations eliminates the numerous calls received regarding the status of the order.
