New Face Facts TV Segment Shared Latest Med Spa Services
Date:5/17/2013

Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) May 17, 2013

During the Dr. Oz show this week, Doctors Faisal Quereshy and Najia Usman discussed the professional treatments offered at their V-Spa in Medina. “The V-Spa is the medical spa division of the Visage Surgical Institute,” Dr. Quereshy told viewers, “and there are several factors that separate us from typical salons.”

A medical spa incorporates many of the same therapeutic services of a traditional spa, but also offers professional anti-aging treatments performed by doctors and aestheticians. At the V-Spa, these treatments are designed to help women and men of Cleveland look their best.

At the first visit, the staff at the V-Spa records a comprehensive medical history, conducts a personal consultation, and then they create a customized treatment protocol. Patients then work with doctors and aestheticians who provide treatment, monitor their progress, and decide on services like Botox®, laser treatment, or chemical peels. “These customized programs allow our patients to have excellent results with little to no downtime,” said Dr. Faisal Quereshy during the Face Facts segment.

In addition to the wide range of treatments available at the V-Spa, patients can also learn about proper home skin care and purchase products that are only available from a physician. “Proper skin care is the cornerstone of any anti-aging therapy,” said Dr. Najia Usman. “I’m very proud of the fact that we are always searching and evaluating the best medical grade products available today.” The V-Spa currently offers prescription skin care products such as Skin Medica TNS Essential Serum, TNS Recovery Complex, and Obagi Nu Derm. For patients with thinning eyelashes, they dispense Latisse®, a medication that makes eyelashes longer, fuller and darker.
