New England Technology Foundation Announces 'Connecting for Children's Charities 2008' Event

"The NE Technology Foundation event allows busy technology executives to network in a relaxed, fun setting," said Kevin Wiant, president of the NE Technology Foundation. "Connecting for Children is not only the event's theme, but a great description of the event's ultimate goal, which is bringing together the New England technology community to raise much-needed funds for very deserving charities."

About the New England Technology Foundation

The New England Technology Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1992. Its mission is to bring the region's technology community together to raise funds for social, medical, and educational organizations that benefit the children of New England. Since its inception, the NE Technology Foundation has donated over $1.3 million dollars to over fifty charitable organizations. The NE Technology Foundation is an all-volunteer organization. The NE Technology Foundation hosts an annual fundraising event in the fall and golf tournament in the spring. Companies in the technology community throughout New England are invited to support and participate in the events as corporate sponsors. Funds raised from the events are then awarded to a selected group of non-profit organizations supporting the needs of children.
