Ray Brogan, former controller at the Tucson-based SaddleBrooke retirement community, has joined Splendido as a director of accounting.
Tucson, Ariz. (Vocus) June 16, 2010 -- Ray Brogan, former controller at the Tucson-based SaddleBrooke retirement community, has joined Splendido as a director of accounting. Brogan has more than 30 years of experience in financial reporting, budget analysis and tax preparation.
"Ray combines strategic financial planning with an impressive history of experience in the accounting field,” said Tom Rios, Executive Director of Splendido. “His diverse mix of experience in the insurance and retirement community industries is a tremendous asset to our ever-expanding team of directors.”
In his new position, Brogan provides financial reporting and supervision of all accounting functions. He also serves as a financial resource for the community’s residents.
Prior to his work at SaddleBrooke, Brogan was the vice president and chief financial officer for Morse, Payson & Noyes Insurance in South Portland, Maine, which was one of the 60 largest privately owned insurance companies in the United States until it was purchased in 1997 by Peoples Heritage Financial Group.
Brogan received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maine in Orono. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
