New Custom Hybrid Planetary Gearbox Series from NMB
Date:7/30/2009

Hybrid planetary gearbox series are available in flexible design with custom mounting, shafts, and low noise plastic and steel gearing options.

Chatsworth, CA (PRWEB) -- NMB Technologies Corporation, a Minebea Company, introduced today a complete series of highly customizable hybrid planetary gearboxes. These are specially design for the medical industry, as well as for pumps, valves and material handling equipment.

The new GN and GR series of hybrid planetary gearboxes is designed for smooth, low speed operation and high output torque capacity. The planetary design ensures easy assembly in any application. NEMA mounting faces offer an industry standard mounting pattern. Round mounting faces are available for hard to fit applications. Designed using a dual ball bearing output shaft, they can withstand elevated radial and axial loads without compromising the gearing integrity.

Custom mounting options include round faces in sizes from 25mm to 85mm. NEMA mounting faces available in sizes 10 to 34. For a cost saving design option, an alternative plastic gearbox solution for lower torque and duty cycle applications can be provided. For low noise requirements, the standard spur gearing can be substituted with plastic and cut steel helical configurations. Additional value added options such as encoders, gearbox mounted pinions, gears and pulleys are part of the custom packages.

The new hybrid planetary gearbox series is available for sampling with delivery in 4 to 6 weeks. Production minimum quantity is 200 pieces with a lead time of 16 weeks.

For more information regarding the availability of more custom options, please contact NMB Technologies Corporation at 847-981-5190 or e-mail NMB's motor group at motors at nmbtc dot com
