New Children's Comic Book, "Howie Goes to Maui," Launches May 23, 2013 On Four Seasons Resort Maui's Web Site

Magic often happens unexpectedly. "Howie Goes to Maui," an online comic book describing the exploits of precocious twin five-year olds, Howie and his sister Heather, at Four Seasons Resort Maui, is just such a case in point. May 23, 2013 marks the debut of “Howie Goes to Maui” and is timed to coincide with the start of the Resort's "WeTime/MeTime” program, a unique summer travel experience combining family adventures, tons of amenities and, most precious of all, opportunities for children and parents to have time together and for parents to have time for themselves.    

Four Seasons Resort Maui's director of marketing Mark Simon explains the magic: "Family travel packages abound in Hawaii. But we knew that beyond the family activities, there are the parents – many of whom desperately need some relaxing and even romantic time together sans kids. The Resort’s new “WeTime/MeTime” program offers exactly that.”

Mark Simon collaborated with Danny Zuker, a three-time Emmy award-winning Hollywood producer to tell the story of the Resort's new program. According to Simon, “Danny first discovered the resort while writing the script for an episode of the top-rated TV show, Modern Family. He and his family have vacationed here a number of times and, based on his first-hand experiences, he penned this 20-page rhyming comic book in a style reminiscent of the best Dr. Seuss classics and as told through the eyes of the five-year olds.” Simon asked Chicago illustrator John Gregg to give the characters a visual life. “These
