GREENBRAE, Calif., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Wisdom of the World, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of transformational media, announced today the release of Sound Sanctuaries, three multi-CD collections of works by acclaimed composer Gary Malkin.

Designed to help listeners experience deep inner peace and harmonic balance, Sound Sanctuaries collections include inspirational, deeply moving music by Malkin that he says will "awaken the spirit and restore a sense of well-being."

Malkin, who has received seven Emmys and six ASCAP awards for his work in television and film, is widely known for his rich compositions and sweeping orchestrations that take the listener on an emotional journey. "Music has the power to help us all reduce stress and cope with the challenges of daily life. Sound Sanctuaries is designed to let you transform your environment into a sanctuary of beautiful healing sound—at home, in the office, in your car—anywhere you take music along," said Malkin.

The first collection, Music for Your Healing Environment, includes four renowned Malkin titles that are all instrumental and elicit feelings of love, acceptance, and harmony that induce states of calm, tranquility, and relaxation.

The other two collections, Music for Your Contemplative Practice and Music for Your Caregivers Haven, also feature Malkin's evocative instrumentals with inspirational messages from such noted mentors and guides as Marianne Williamson, Desmond Tutu, and Ram Dass.
