New Brunswick - St. Peter's Hospital Unveils an Addition to Its Cancer Treatment Program.

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The hospital in conjunction with RadioSurgery Partners(TM) will start construction on a 5000 + square foot facility which will house the Accuray CyberKnife(R). Accuray is a global leader in the field of radiosurgery. The CyberKnife(R) Robotic Radiosurgery System is the world's only robotic radiosurgery system designed to treat tumors anywhere in the body non-invasively such as the prostate and lung. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring of 2009 and be completed by late 2009.
