Suite Enables Providers to Offer Continuity of Care and Consumer-Directed

Care, Making Connected Care a Reality

BOSTON, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Netsmart Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-wide software and services for health and human services organizations, today introduced the Netsmart Connect(TM) suite of on-demand and licensed software solutions. The announcement was made at the 38th Annual Conference of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare in Boston, Mass.

The Connect suite provides behavioral and public healthcare organizations with the elements needed to achieve total connected care by ensuring that clinical information is available internally, shared externally with authorized parties and provided to consumers via the Web. The Connect suite is designed to work with Netsmart's Avatar, CMHC/MIS, Insight and Helper enterprise product lines, which furnish Netsmart customers with solid practice management, program management and electronic health record (EHR) capabilities.

Externally, the suite enables behavioral and public health providers to securely share information such as referrals, discharge summaries and medication records with other organizations involved in the consumer's care, including primary care facilities and other entitie
