Netsmart Technologies Acquires Pharmacy Management Software Company

atar software to receive create a medication order via Avatar Order Entry and send it to the pharmacy for processing by RxConnect, with the information then integrated into Avatar eMAR for medication administration.

In addition to being integrated with Netsmart's products for behavioral and public health, the software will continue to be sold to primary care facilities and small hospital pharmacies under the brand RxLink. Customer support will continue uninterrupted for RxLink's more than 134 current customer sites.

The pharmacy management software solution was developed by Crown Software founder and CEO Bill King, who is a Registered Pharmacist. King will join Netsmart and continued to be involved in ongoing development of the product.
