Cremation Industry Leader Brings Its Affordable Services To The Greater

Tucson Area

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Neptune Society, the largest cremation-only services company in the U.S., announces it is now offering its industry-leading services in the greater Tucson, Arizona area. The company's Tucson office, located at 103 W. Grant Road, Suite 111, expands its service in Arizona, which includes a location in Tempe as well. The Neptune Society, a subsidiary of the BG Capital Group, now has 38 locations in 10 states -- including cremation facilities, sales offices, and holding facilities -- and continues to expand services throughout the United States.

The Tucson office will officially open on October 25 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:00 P.M. This event is open to the public and is being supported by Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Tours of the facility will be held afterwards.

Jerry Norman, President and CEO of The Neptune Society, said, "We are honored to be a part of the Tucson community and to offer residents our dignified and affordable alternative to the traditional funeral experience. Cremation is on the rise in the U.S., and Arizona is one of a handful of states that's cremation rate is over 50%."

Established in 1973, The Neptune Society is dedicated to providing consumers with a simple, economical and dignified alternative to the traditional costly funeral, which can run from $7,000 to $10,000. The average cremation costs less than half of that. The Neptune Society is not owned or operated by a traditional funeral home or cemetery, and is the only nationwide organization to specialize in cremation-only services. Cremations now account for over 30% of all funeral services in the U.S. according to the Cremation Association of America. Some states like Arizona, Hawaii, California, and Florida are up to over 50 per cent. The average is projected to reach close to
