Negative Publicity Around PFFS Sales Practices Not Getting Through to Seniors

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- DSS Research asked a number of questions to measure awareness of negative publicity around PFFS sales practices in their June Senior Trax(TM) survey. The study was conducted with a national sample of 600 Medicare eligibles. Overall, 13.3% said they had heard or read some kind of negative comments about Medicare products in the past two months. This figure ranged from a high of 28.8% for those with MediGap coverage, to 8.5% for those with MA coverage to 7.0% for those with Medicare Only. However, none of the respondents mentioned issues related to sales practices.
