("Navitas"), the market leader in providing integrated and comprehensive cancer rehabilitation services, is pleased to announce that it has opened a new center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Albuquerque Center has been established in cooperation with New Mexico Oncology Hematology Consultants, Ltd., (NMOHC) the largest independent oncology and hematology practice in the State of New Mexico. Within the Albuquerque Center, Navitas provides an integrated set of rehabilitation services designed specifically for cancer patients and survivors. These services include physical therapy, prescriptive exercise, lymphedema therapy, and psychological services, among others, all provided within a single location and in a highly personalized and integrated manner.
While initially operating at 7007 Wyoming Boulevard NE, the Center will be permanently housed within the New Mexico Cancer Center, NMOHC's largest practice location, by the fourth quarter of 2007. The Center will be able to provide services to hundreds of people undergoing cancer treatment and will employ a team of clinicians and rehabilitative specialists from various disciplines. The Albuquerque site marks the third Navitas location, joining the company's others in Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah.
