Natural Health International's 100% Natural Herbatonin(R) Helps Summer Travelers Avoid Jet Lag and Fix Their Own Body Clock

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- For many of the 195 million air travelers expected this summer, jet lag and sleep disorders are problematic. Fortunately, Natural Health International (NHI) announces the introduction of Herbatonin(R), a safe and natural solution for supporting sound sleep.

Jet lag refers to the fatigue and insomnia associated with the disruption of the body's biological rhythms caused by time zone changes. Melatonin, a hormone released from the pineal gland each night, aids sleep by regulating and corresponding the body's internal clock to the new time zone. According to the Journal of Pineal Research,(1).melatonin also stimulates the immune system and acts as an anti-oxidant. Herbatonin(R) is the first natural plant melatonin product on the market and is identical to human melatonin.

According to Dr. Marcus Laux, a naturopathic physician who uses natural remedies, there are three ways of approaching supplemental melatonin, "One is to take natural melatonin made from the pineal glands of animals. This is not my first choice; pineal tissue is brain tissue, and it could easily be contaminated with viruses or prions (as in "mad cow" disease). The second choice is synthetic melatonin. It's safer, but not all manufacturers care about creating identical and quality controlled products."
