National Water Services, Inc. Receives WBE Certification
Date:5/13/2010

National Water Services, Inc. (NWS), a leading provider of water conservation and water management services, was recently awarded certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2010 -- National Water Services, Inc. (NWS), a leading provider of water conservation and water management services, was recently awarded certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC certification validates that a business is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman. To achieve certification, women-owned businesses must complete lengthy and formal documentation and on-site visit processes to ensure that they meet the stringent requirements set by the WBENC. Certification gives women owned businesses the ability to compete for real-time business opportunities provided by WBENC Corporate Members.

Hundreds of major corporations and governmental agencies turn to WBENC certification to identify women-owned businesses that can help fulfill their contract needs because the WBENC issues the “gold standard” in national certification for women-owned businesses.

“We are very excited about our WBE certification because it puts us in a distinguished category of businesses that are recognized by federal, state and local governments, as well as thousands of private corporations,” said Patricia Hartman, Majority Owner and President of NWS. “NWS has a long track record of successfully working with many large national organizations and we are very excited about the opportunities that come with this certification. This certification will allow us to provide our valuable services to companies that need to do business with woman-owned firms as part of their contract requirements."

Organizations interested in hearing more about the services that NWS provides or learning about how NWS can help them meet WBE contracting and subcontracting mandates should contact Bob Wilson, NWS Chief Operating Officer, at (877) 240-2350 x775 or visit www.nwsinfo.com.
