National Prosthodontics Awareness Week Serves and Educates Consumers About Proper Oral Health Care

ountry at the local level will be a cornerstone of NPAW™. A recent survey by the ACP indicated that prosthodontists donate on average $25,000 in pro bono care each year. The treatment delivered by prosthodontists included a broad scope of services including restorations for patients with complex needs.

The celebration of NPAW™ kicks-off a notable year for the College, which marks its 40th Anniversary in 2010. The special occasion will be commemorated with exceptional education and events during the ACP’s 40th Annual Session on Nov. 3-6, 2010 in Orlando. A highlight of the conference will be keynote speaker Malcolm Gladwell, New York Times best-selling author, who has written about his concern for access to oral health care in the U.S.
