National Medical Association Mourns the Loss of William E. Matory, Sr., M.D., Director of Continuing Medical Education

WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following was released by the National Medical Association:

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. William Earl Matory, Sr., Director of Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Matory, who is known locally and nationally for his contributions to trauma care, burn care, continuing medical education and as the developer of a number of new programs at Howard University, passed away this morning at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Matory served as director of CME of the National Medical Association since 1975. This is a great loss to the National Medical Association and the entire medical community. We will miss Dr. Matory's leadership and friendship.
