National Foundation for Infectious Diseases Receives Top ASAE Honors for Keeping the Nation Flu-Focused

The program also included “Leading by Example,” featuring organizations, celebrities, and corporate and community leaders getting vaccinated throughout the season. A partnership with Parade.com also reached consumers with targeted influenza and pneumococcal messages.

“NFID leveraged its ability to organize the energy and ideas of a community to achieve together what individuals cannot achieve alone,” said Marla Dalton, CAE, NFID Executive Director. “NFID’s annual initiative reinforces the importance of collaboration to heighten public awareness about flu prevention.”

ASAE’s Power of A Awards, the industry’s highest honor, recognize the association community’s valuable contributions on the local, national, and global level. The Power of A Awards reward outstanding accomplishments of associations and industry professionals for their efforts to enrich lives, create a competitive workforce, prepare society for the future, drive innovation, and make a better world.
