Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 06, 2013
National Camp Series (NCS) Associate Eric Fritz, of RealKickers.com, has joined Kicking For The Dream’s effort to fight ovarian cancer according to NFL Kicker, and Kicking For The Dream Founder, Billy Cundiff.
"Eric's enthusiasm for Kicking for the Dream is amazing," says Cundiff. "Any time you are around him, you can see how much he wants to give to others. We are excited to have this great kicking coach on board."
Fritz says he doesn't have to look beyond his own home to know why supporting Kicking For The Dream is so important.
"I am on this earth for a "Dash" (the time between your birth date and your death date),” says Fritz. “Just think if I could raise money and awareness for something so special it saves women's lives. It could be my wife Julie, my daughter Zoe or someone I don't even know."

A second team All-Region Placekicker - Florida out of Woodham High School (FL), Eric Fritz signed and accepted an appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy where he started and performed Placekicking and Kickoff duties.
After leaving the U. S. Coast Guard, Coach Fritz earned two degrees in 1996 from the University of South Alabama (BSBA Operation Systems Management) and the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (The Netherlands), (BBA Certification - European Logistics & Distribution) and a Master’s in Public Administration in 2006 from Troy University.
Fritz has a unique experience as a player that kicked traditionally, teaches and coaches American Soccer Style, Punters and Deep Snappers and likes to crunch numbers for fun. Coach Fritz is dedicated to building positive work habits, character and integrity, which results in a positive coach/player learning environment all based with statistics and objective measurements.
Fritz is among a number of NCS Associates to announce his support for the Kicking For The Dream project. Earlier this month, NCS Founder Michael Husted was the first to support Cundiff’s project.
Fritz adds a final thought on supporting Kicking For The Dream, and he encourages others to do the same.
“I am on this Earth to serve, I know you can too,” says Fritz.
The National Camp Series (NCS) is a nationwide network of expert kicking coaches with NFL and College level playing experience. According to Husted, the goal of NCS is to provide effective instruction on the field and guidance off of the field that will allow student-athletes the ability to leverage their sport to get a college education.

Cundiff, who has been an NFL kicker for over 10 years for teams such as the Cowboys, Saints, Browns, Ravens and Redskins, launched Kicking For The Dream in May of 2013, as an effort to support Colleen’s Dream Foundation, a foundation which raises money to support research for the early detection of, and improved treatment for, ovarian cancer.
He says Colleen’s Dream Foundation started in 2012 as a result of his mother-in-laws’ battle with ovarian cancer.
“Colleen felt it was important to raise money for research that will lead to reliable early detection testing and improved treatment for ovarian cancer,” says Cundiff. “Because so little is known about ovarian cancer in proportion to other women’s health issues, we have an incredible opportunity for research and education.”
Cundiff says he appreciates having Fritiz's support in this effort, and looks forward to working with as many NCS Associates as he can bring to Kicking For The Dream.
“I talked to a number of NCS Associates at this year’s NCS Super Camp and there was a great deal of interest in participating in Kicking For The Dream,” says Cundiff. “I want to thank Chris for lending his voice as well. I will continue to reach out to all the NCS Associates over the next few months to enlist their help as well.
