Fair is open to the local community.
New York, NY (Vocus) April 1, 2010 -- New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) presents its annual Health and Wellness Fair for students, faculty, staff, and local community members on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at NYIT’s Manhattan Campus.
The fair, which is presented by NYIT’s Office of Counseling and Wellness Services, will provide guests with the opportunity to meet with health educators from various organizations including St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Guests will also receive a free massage, participate in medical screenings, and learn about nicotine replacement therapy.
NYIT’s Office of Counseling and Wellness Services coordinates student mental health, disability, immunization, and health insurance services.
The Health and Wellness Fair is open to the public and free of charge. It will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010, from noon – 2 p.m. at the 11th Floor Auditorium in The New Technology Building located on 16 West 61st Street in New York.
