NUCRYST Announces First Quarter 2008 Financial Results

in 2007. The increase is attributable primarily to nonrecurring costs including severance, stock option expense and third party services.

Foreign Exchange gains in the first quarter of 2008 were $0.6 million compared to foreign exchange losses of $0.2 million in the same period in 2007.
