NMPI Launches Fifth Portable Cardiology Unit
Date:8/5/2009

Nuclear Medicine Professionals, Inc. has added a fifth mobile nuclear cardiology unit to its fleet to keep pace with explosive growth in demand and market expansion.

Gainesville, FL (PRWEB) August 5, 2009 -- Nuclear Medicine Professionals, Inc. (NMPI) announces the acquisition and launch of its fifth portable nuclear camera. The size of NMPI's fleet of mobile cardiac imaging units has increased 40% in 2009 alone.

According to NMPI President John Millett, the outstanding growth can be attributed to increasing demand for in-office imaging services. "As Medicare continues to cut reimbursements, practices are forced to look to alternate revenue streams. This is where NMPI comes in. Our simple equipment and personnel leases meet all regulatory standards and provide physicians with an opportunity to keep revenues in house."

With demand steadily increasing, Mr. Millett anticipates adding a sixth camera before the end of the year. "Expansion is actually running about 6 months ahead of schedule. The acquisition of a sixth camera was originally planned for the second quarter of 2010, but we are revising our projections forward to accommodate the faster than expected growth," states Mr. Millett.
