NHP Increases Its Quarterly Common Dividend by $0.03 and Declares Its Quarterly Cash Dividends on Common Stock and Series B Preferred Stock

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nationwide Health Properties, Inc.'s (NYSE: NHP) Board of Directors declared today a $0.44 per share regular dividend on its common stock, a $0.03 increase from the prior quarterly dividend of $0.41 per share. The dividend will be paid on March 7, 2008 to shareholders of record on February 15, 2008.

In addition, NHP's Board of Directors declared cash dividends of $1.9375 per share on its Series B cumulative convertible preferred stock. The Series B dividend will be paid on March 31, 2008 to stockholders of record on March 15, 2008.
