NHP Announces Fourth Quarter Earnings Release Date and Conference Call/Webcast

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. (NYSE: NHP) announced today that the Company will release its fourth quarter earnings on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange. The Company will host a conference call on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time (11:30 a.m. Eastern time) in order to present the Company's financial performance and operating results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2008.

The conference call will be accessible by dialing 877-356-5705 and referencing conference ID number 83294465 or by logging on to our website at www.nhp-reit.com. The international dial-in number is 973-200-3389. The earnings release and any additional financial information that may be discussed on the conference call will also be available on our website.
