NHP Announces First Quarter Earnings Release Date and Webcast/ Conference Call

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. (NYSE: NHP) announced today that the Company will release its 2009 first quarter results on Thursday, May 7, 2009 after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange. The Company will host a webcast and conference call on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time (11:30 a.m. Eastern time) to discuss these results.

The webcast can be accessed at the following URL or in the Investor Relations section of our website at Participants may also join via teleconference by dialing 866-700-5192 and referencing conference ID number 36865441. The international dial-in number is 617-213-8833. The earnings release and any additional financial information that may be discussed on the webcast/conference call will also be available on our website.
