NHC Group CEO, Paul Mirabelle announces National Hearing Care's proposal to buy Bay Audiology approved

Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) October 10, 2009 -- Abano Healthcare shareholders have today approved the acquisition of Bay Audiology by National Hearing Care. Final completion of the transaction is expected to occur the first week of November.

NHC Group CEO Paul Mirabelle said, "The formal vote today moves us one step closer to creating what is the clear leader in Australia and New Zealand in the provision of audiology services. The acquisition of Bay Audiology complements our existing business in New Zealand. Along with the leadership position held by our Australian business, we are now well positioned for future growth. We are delighted to be moving ahead with this transaction. I have had the opportunity over the last few weeks to meet many of the Bay team members and we are clearly looking forward to working with them."
