NEI Guided Nutrition Program(TM) is Second Entrant in Medical Arsenal for Neuro-Endocrine-Immune Supersystem(C) Product and Testing Protocols
Date:1/11/2010

OSCEOLA, Wis., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- NeuroScience, Inc. has launched a comprehensive and customizable dietary program based on patients' food sensitivity test results. The NEI Guided Nutrition Program(TM) is the first offering through NeuroScience, Inc.'s new NEI Nutrition(TM) division.

Historically, the Nervous, Endocrine, and Immune systems have been considered as separate entities. However, recent evidence shows that those systems are actually part of a single -- and integrated -- Neuro-Endocrine-Immune (NEI) Supersystem© that communicates via neurotransmitters, hormones, and cytokines. NeuroScience, Inc. Chairman and Founder, Gottfried Kellermann, PhD strongly believes that disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract can be detrimental to the entire NEI Supersystem©. "This view finds strong support in the scientific literature. If a person is reacting to the foods they eat or their intestinal immune system is compromised, inflammation can arise. Chronic inflammation has a particularly negative impact on mood, cognition, and energy levels and may lead to depression, hyperactivity or fatigue, and/or frequent illness or autoimmune diseases."

Unlike other nutrition programs that are focused solely on food basics, the NEI Guided Nutrition Program(TM) -- based on reactions to 110 different foods -- incorporates food sensitivity test results with individualized recommendations for foods that should not evoke a strong immune reaction. Avoiding foods that evoke an immune response will decrease inflammation and its associated clinical complaints. The NEI Guided Nutrition Program(TM) is in an easy-to-follow format and includes health tracking forms and over 60 delicious, hypoallergenic recipes.

The NEI Guided Nutrition Program(TM) is offered exclusively through healthcare practitioners. Additional information can be found at:
