PITTSBURGH, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mylan Inc. (Nasdaq: MYL) today announced that its Vice Chairman and CEO Robert J. Coury will preside over the NASDAQ Stock Market opening on Friday, Feb. 20 from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. ET. Coury will ring the opening bell to celebrate the company's switch from The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to NASDAQ.
Mylan's common stock began trading on NASDAQ Dec. 29, 2008. The company is listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market, and its common stock continues to trade under the "MYL" ticker symbol. Mylan's mandatory convertible preferred stock and 1.25% convertible notes also moved to NASDAQ with the ticker symbols "MYLNP" and "MYLNG," respectively.
