Muscle Angel Massagers™ Receive Accolades from Dentists and Hygienists

Muscle Angel Massagers™ Selected as “Top Pick” for Ergonomic Muscle Pain Relief.

(Vocus) April 13, 2010 -- Susan Z. Robins, President of Muscle Angels™, launched the Original Muscle Angel™ at this year’s Yankee Dental Conference in January 2010. The response was overwhelmingly positive and Muscle Angel Massagers™ were awarded a “Top Pick” recommendation for leading ergonomics products designed to help reduce muscle tension and pain.

The product, a portable massage device, was designed to improve the quality of life for people who suffer from chronic muscle tension (anywhere in the body), stress related pain, tension headaches, and more.

Muscle Angel Massagers™ were born from Susan’s own search for relief to pain in her face and jaw -- brought on by many years of stress, and combined with general muscle tension from computer overuse, and repetitive stress injuries from playing a musical instrument. She sought help from medical specialists, massage and occupational therapists, and she spent considerable effort looking for that elusive, “perfect” product, but her efforts were in vain.

Susan explains “I tried many different products, in a variety or price ranges, but could not find a product that combined all the 'must have' features. It needed to be easy to hold, have a hands-free option for people who suffer from bilateral pain in the hands and arms, and needed to provide deep tissue massage – even to those hard-to-reach places (like the upper back and neck) – without the need for assistance from a partner." Susan continued "Because pain can strike at any time, the product needed to be portable and easy-to-use – even while at work."

As Susan searched for a solution, sharing her frustrations with friends and medical and therapeutic professionals, she quickly learned that her pain issues were not unique; thousands of people---medical professionals, computer users, athletes, musicians, dancers, and professionals from all walks of life—suffer from similar muscle pain and/or tension headaches.

During a routine dental exam, Susan explains that her jaw was so tight, she could not keep it open long enough for the dental hygienist to complete the cleaning: “When the hygienist stepped out of the room, I quickly reached inside my bag and pulled out one of my Muscle Angel™ prototypes. I began using the Sculpted Nub-Tip to help release the trigger point tightness in my face and jaw muscles. Relief came almost immediately, and has been long-lasting (which was a unexpected surprise, even for me)! The hygienist, after seeing me using the Muscle Angel™, asked if it could help her relieve her chronic neck, back and hand pain and, after using the product with the Stability Sleeve, she too, experienced relief that lasted well into the next day.”

Dentists and hygienists suffer from chronic neck, back and hand pain from being bent over patients all day long, and from repetitive stress injuries from using the dental instruments. No one knows this better than early adopter, Pam Karlins, Dental Hygienist from CT. Pam explains “I have had back pain for years due to positioning at work. Last year I began to get numbness and went for therapy again. The therapist was able to relieve most of the pain, but she informed me that the numbness would not disappear. After using the Muscle Angel Massager™, I received relief from the pain and noticed that the numbness had decreased! I have been a dental hygienist for forty two years and am looking forward to getting continued relief from my [Muscle Angel™.”

About Muscle Angels™

Formed in July 2009, Norbis Innovations Company, LLC (“Norbis Innovations”), created its first brand, Muscle Angels™, with the vision of improving the quality of life for people who suffer from chronic muscle pain and tension headaches. Our mission is to develop non-invasive and therapeutic massage innovations that help minimize the intensity and frequency of muscle pain. Muscle Angels™ helps chronic muscle pain sufferers get back to enjoying their daily activities; Muscle Angel Massagers™ help people “get back to living!™”

Muscle Angels™ massage products work to reduce muscle pain and fatigue, and increase flexibility, circulation, mobility and elasticity. This objective is achieved by combining three effective massage therapy techniques including -- Myofascial Trigger Point, Acupressure, and Deep Tissue Massage. Unlike massage therapy, however, Muscle Angel Massagers™ are designed to be used without the need for assistance from a partner, and even offer a hands-free solution for people who suffer from bilateral hand and arm problems and consequently, are unable to use their own hands to help knead achy and tight muscles.
