Mr. Ruben Jose King-Shaw Jr. to Join KineMatik Board of Directors

Previously, Mr. King-Shaw served as a senior advisor to President George W. Bush and Treasury Secretary John W. Snow on healthcare policy issues. Mr. King-Shaw was also the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services -- a position to which he was appointed by President George W. Bush and Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson. Prior to his federal government tenure, Mr. King-Shaw was the Secretary of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, and held various positions in the private health care services industry, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of NHP, Inc. of Miami, Florida. NHP is now a unit of United Healthcare, Inc.

Mr. King-Shaw remains active in academic and public service as well, serving as Vice Chairman of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees, Vice Chairman of Greater Boston's Caritas Health System and the Dean's Council at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Mr. King-Shaw received his Bachelors of Science degree studying Labor Economics at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He also holds a Master of Health Services Administration and a Master of International Business from Florida International University and the Center for International Studies in Madrid, Spain.
