Mountain States Health Alliance Rolls Out TEDS Talent Management System

"Mountain States is dedicated to being on the front lines of using the best technological resources to help meet these challenges. Implementing TEDS in our system will be a great asset in reaching that goal."

"The partnership with TEDS is an opportunity to build a more robust, integrated system for talent management in healthcare," Elaine Smith, MSHA Assistant Vice President of Organizational Development said. The power of this system lies in the ability to link learning activities, competency management, performance measurement and workforce planning activities, Smith added. "With rapid changes in technology and medical care, healthcare providers will benefit from access to high quality, just-in-time learning while managers and senior leaders will have up-to-date information on the status of the learning enterprise from the department to system-wide levels. MSHA is committed to supporting continuous learning for all our team members so that we can continue in our mission of providing excellent, patient-centered care to the patients and families we serve."

TEDS and Mountain States have also agreed to partner in the further development of health care-specific learning processes, competencies, and business practices aimed at achieving optimum performance in the healthcare setting. The companies plan to share these experiences with other large organizations in the healthcare industry.
