Mountain States Health Alliance Rolls Out TEDS Talent Management System

Leading Health Care Provider Maximizes Performance with the TEDS Talent Management Suite.

Johnson City, TN (PRWEB) July 29, 2009 -- Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA), headquartered in Johnson City, Tennessee, announced today the rollout of the TEDS® Talent Management Suite. TEDS is now live for the system-wide management of Mountain States' team member learning.

Mountain States Health Alliance provides comprehensive healthcare in Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina through its network of hospitals, primary/preventive care centers and outpatient care centers. MSHA is nationally recognized as a leader in healthcare technology.

MSHA deployed the TEDS Learning Management System, Learning on Demand© - one of the TEDS Talent Management System's modules - to distribute and manage team member training and compliance throughout their organization. TEDS Learning on Demand has optimized the speed and effectiveness of Mountain States team member learning by automating all learning administration functions including scheduling and launching of e-learning, course enrollment, and evaluations. Team members have easy access to their learning tasks any time and anywhere, because their courses, scheduled learning events, course assignments and tests are delivered on-line. New methodology was created to utilize TEDS' on-line testing for item analysis, resulting in for more effective testing.

Within four days of launch, TEDS was managing all active courses and 1.6 million migrated learning history records. 35% of Mountain States' learner population had accessed the system within the first week. Mountain States is licensed for 10,000 users.

These initiatives place Mountain States at the forefront of workforce planning and development within the health care industry.

In combination, TEDS' powerful software modules will assist Mountain States Health Alliance in recruiting, developing, and managing talent while monitoring and maximizing performance throughout their health care enterprise. The entire TEDS Talent Management system can be easily implemented in stages because the system is fully integrated and all modules communicate with each other through a single, common database.
