Date:1/26/2010

Mountain Home Training and Consulting Inc., an industry leader in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Training and Certification, took a bold step in the middle of huge recession. To help companies battle tough economic times, they made their On Demand Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification available for free. This unique offer not only helped hundreds of organizations to learn the basics of Lean Six Sigma, but it also allowed potential Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt Candidates to test drive one of Mountain Home’s innovative and comprehensive online training courses before they committed to the program.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) January 26, 2010 -- On September 22, 2009, Mountain Home Training and Consulting made a very unusual offer, they announced that they were making their full-length online, on-demand training course, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, available for free.

The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Course, MHC-2000LSS, is designed to provide individuals, at all levels of the organization, who are responsible for improving the quality and efficiency of its products or services, an overview of the basic concepts and techniques of Lean Six Sigma used by process improvement practitioners worldwide. The topics covered include Introduction to Process Improvement using Lean Six Sigma & the DMAIC Methodology, Role of Business Process Management (BPM) in Lean Six Sigma, and Changing Organization Culture.

“We felt at the time, that providing this type of training to the public was a great way for us to do our part in today’s very uncertain economy. So many businesses are trying to survive this global recession without the knowledge they really need. We felt we wanted to help by doing what we do best – transferring knowledge,” says Mountain Home President and CEO, Derril Watts. He went on to say, “Those who have taken advantage of the offer not only gained insights into performance improvement concepts and techniques that really work, they also got to try our training, with little or no risk."

"We were quite pleasantly surprised at the response with several hundred people from every business and organization you can imagine, from all over the globe, taking the course,” commented Jerry Posey, Vice President of Student Relations for Mountain Home. Posey added, “We were especially pleased at how many of those taking the course actually changed their opinion of online training, because of the high quality of our course as well as several have decided to continue their education by pursuing our LSS Green and Black Belt certifications.”

Because of the response, Mountain Home has decided that the offer will be extended for another six months. So, if you want to take advantage of this very exciting offer, you need to hurry and sign up soon!
