Mount Diablo Region YMCA Names Local Business Leader, Susan Trainer, to Its Corporate Execu...(ising campaign titled Together We Build...),Health

ising campaign, titled "Together We Build," groundbreakings for new facilities at San Ramon Valley, Oakley, and Pleasant Hill's Irvin Deutscher Family YMCA facilities are scheduled to take place between this winter and the fall. In addition, the YMCA plans to expand programs and develop new services at all of its sites, including creating supervised segmented health and fitness environments for teens and seniors.

San Ramon Valley YMCA Board Expansion

In addition to the new members of the Corporate Executive Board of Directors, the Mount Diablo Region YMCA recently welcomed the following five new members to the board for the agency's largest site, the San Ramon Valley YMCA:

-- Joe Buenavista, a vice president with Bernstein Global Wealth

Management, is a 2007 graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley and a

member of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce.

-- Preston Canzius, senior council with Chevron Corporation, is a 2007

graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley.

-- Elaine Cortez Schroth, owner of Bay Building Maintenance in Danville

and a 2007 graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley, has been an active

volunteer in many community groups, including the Parent Teacher

Association and San Ramon Valley Girls Athletic League.

-- Steve Wilcox, a partner in the Summit Financial Group in San Ramon, is

an active member of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, the

Financial Planners Association, and the Rotary Club.
