combined company became a $2 billion entity called Memorex Telex. While with Memorex Telex, she supported hundreds of product announcements, a corporate restructuring, and dozens of acquisitions. In 1993, Trainer joined Sybase, Inc., where she was accountable for introducing and managing communications for strategic System 10 products such as Replication Server and Navigation Server, the first major corporate partnership with IBM, and the company's first sponsorship of the World Cup.

The YMCA Executive Board of Directors is responsible for developing the strategic vision, direction and business strategy that is the basis of the Y's five-year plan. The board determines where the Y needs to provide services and in what capacity; what programs need to be supported and which ones need to be developed; and helps direct the capital campaigns.

Mt. Diablo Region YMCA Sees Dramatic Growth 2002-2007

From 2002 through 2007, the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA tripled the number of families it served; created four new centers; and raised millions of dollars to build, update, and revise its facilities and programs. Today the four branches of the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA serve over 40,000 members in communities from Oakley to Orinda and Martinez to San Ramon. The only local organization to serve the entire family with an open-door policy, the Y is the largest provider of child-care services and after-school tutoring in Contra Costa County.
