Most Influential Events for Korea's Fine and Specialty Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries to be Held in November

SEOUL, South Korea, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The one-stop marketplace for the fine and specialty chemical and pharmaceutical industries, XpoChem and XpoPharm, will take place at SETEC in Seoul, South Korea, on 5 and 6 November 2008, exhibiting a wide range of items in these fields, from ingredients and intermediates to finished products, equipment and machinery.

Since its launch in 2004, XpoChem and XpoPharm have revitalized the fine and specialty chemical and pharmaceutical industries in Korea by providing a professional meeting place for networking and business. The first and only focused events in these industries in Korea, they have also attracted a lot of interest, not only from local companies, but also from overseas companies looking for a way to make inroads into the Korean market. The events show a high rate of foreign exhibitors, at an average of over 60%, for the past four years.

With both local and overseas attention, the events have grown and matured, and exhibitors have expressed their satisfaction. Yong-gil Choi, team leader of Dealim Chemical Co. Ltd., one of the exhibitors in 2007, said, "I was very satisfied with the high level of professional visitors and buyers." Another exhibitor at the 2007 events, Byung-yoon Choi, Assistant Manager of Dongwoo Syntech Co Ltd, said, "We are focused on both the domestic and the overseas markets, and XpoChem and XpoPharm are a good opportunity to meet core buyers." In fact, 73.3% of visitors in 2007 were decision-makers (President/CEO/Team Leader/Manager), and the tendency among exhibitors to re-book a booth on-site and increase their booth size is prominent this year. This atmosphere seems to have been created by loyal exhibitors who have participated in the fairs from the first year, experiencing good business results and promotional effects. '/>"/>
