MorseLife Launches Learning Institute to Teach Best Practices in Leadership, Healthcare and Kosher Culinary
Date:3/16/2009

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --With a reputation as a center of excellence in senior care, MorseLife's new initiative, MorseLife Learning Institute (MLI), will expand as a center of learning in teaching best practices in leadership, healthcare and Kosher culinary.

Already noted for professional and community education, MLI will enable MorseLife to provide online and onsite clinical education for healthcare professionals, and to share leadership and human resources "best practices" with professional and lay communities.

Dr. Dale Dan, Chief Learning Officer, brings to the position a wealth of experience, having developed traditional and e-learning programs for organizations nationally and internationally.

"Dr. Dan will enable us to broaden our reach through e-college technology among students in need of continuing education, training and leadership programs," noted Keith Myers, CEO of MorseLife. "In a short period, she has developed a comprehensive approach to pave the way for our being a center of learning."

Dr. Dan notes that at MorseLife, there are vast resources to pass along to the greater community. "From training nursing professionals, to becoming one of three schools in the world offering certification in Kosher culinary, to passing along principles of leadership to professionals throughout the country, we are well positioned to teach best practices and impact the careers of many," she said. "With the increasing trend in schools offering online courses, we see a wonderful opportunity to bring our knowledge to a wide audience."

MorseLife Learning Institute comprises three schools:

  • School of Leadership -- online and on-site continuing education for management professionals in the dissemination of best practices in health care, senior care and human resource development, and to seniors and families seeking to understand the challenges of aging.
  • School of Nursing -- training certified nursing assistants (CNAs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs) working in the field, with an emphasis on elder care.
  • School of Kosher Culinary -- certifying individuals for work in kosher kitchens, and community members who want to learn about kosher cooking.

Keith A. Myers notes that the organization is "grateful to Dr. Dan in bringing to reality this important initiative - that of becoming a center of learning throughout the country. These are exciting times for MorseLife."
