Exploring Differences in Key Drivers of Workforce Commitment/Engagement

Charlotte, NC (Vocus) February 2, 2010 -- Morehead, the human capital research firm, will host a webinar titled “Building Employee Engagement in a University Healthcare Environment.” The free hour-long webinar will be broadcast on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Join David Rowlee, Ph.D., Morehead’s VP, Research Services and Sara Stokes, Ph.D., Morehead’s Director, Research Services as they explore the differences between employee attitudes in general healthcare settings versus those in university healthcare settings.

They will explore the differences in key drivers of workforce commitment/engagement in university healthcare environments. Also included in the discussion is a look at several key indexes that are predictive of business outcomes and how these often differ in university healthcare environments, including change readiness, action planning readiness and turnover vulnerability.

In this webcast, participants will learn:

  • The commitment level of the university healthcare workers (based on Morehead’s national database) as compared to general healthcare workers
  • Why typical initiatives to engage healthcare workers may not work in university healthcare environments
  • Whether university healthcare workers are more or less prepared to embrace and adapt to rapidly changing environments
  • How likely university healthcare employees are to work collaboratively with their unit managers to reach goals and objectives
  • What university healthcare organizations are doing to reduce employee turnover
