PHOENIX, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Missouri House of Representatives recognized a TriWest Healthcare Alliance employee for her "extraordinary" efforts serving the state's National Guard Service members and their families.
The House honored Kathryn Lucero, a TriWest beneficiary service and education representative serving Missouri, in an award ceremony for devoting "an exceptional amount to time and energy to assisting soldiers and airmen of the Missouri National Guard."
The proclamation, offered by Representative Bill Deeken and Speaker of the House Rod Jetton, stated:
"Kathryn Lucero has attained considerable distinction as a Beneficiary
Education Representative for TriWest Healthcare Alliance who has provided
health benefit information to more than 5,000 members of the Missouri
National Guard, retirees, and members of their families during the past
two years.
"And while working with National Guardsmen at Missouri's Fort Leonard Wood
and Whiteman Air Force Base, Kathryn Lucero has demonstrated a commitment
to men and women in uniform that is not limited to a normal eight-hour
workday or a 40-hour workweek.
"And Kathryn Lucero's selfless service and caring attitude has helped the
Missouri National Guard to ensure that its members are knowledgeable
concerning the medical benefits that they have earned through enlistment
in components of the United States armed forces."
