CitraNatal(TM) family of products offers formulas of essential prenatal

vitamins for women

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Mission Pharmacal today announced the launch of the CitraNatal(TM) family of prescription prenatal vitamins. The CitraNatal family of products offers new formulas of essential vitamins and minerals for women prior to conception, throughout pregnancy and in the postnatal period. These new products include CitraNatal(TM) DHA, CitraNatal(TM) 90 DHA and CitraNatal(TM) Rx all of which are designed to improve the nutritional status of women and their babies.

CitraNatal Rx is a multivitamin/multimineral prescription drug containing a balanced dose of vitamins and minerals, including folic acid, calcium citrate and iron, as well as a stool softener. CitraNatal DHA provides women with all the prenatal essentials of CitraNatal Rx, and also includes, 250 mg of Martek's life'sDHA,(TM) a patented, plant-based form of the omega-3 fatty acid DHA, which has been shown to improve the pre- and postnatal neurological, visual and nervous system development of children.

CitraNatal 90 DHA contains the same benefits of CitraNatal DHA plus 90 mg of carbonyl iron as an option for doctors whose patients require additional iron. CitraNatal 90 DHA multivitamins also contain 250 mg of Martek's life'sDHA.
