Mirixa Australia Launches at APP2009

New business unit, building on the success of Mirixa Corporation in the U.S., makes clinical technology to power pharmacist-delivered services available nationwide in Australia

GOLD COAST, Queensland, Australia, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Mirixa Corporation, a U.S. leader in pharmacy-based patient care services and the Pharmacy Guild of Australia announced today the launch of Mirixa Australia at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition. Mirixa Australia, a newly formed business venture is operated by the Guild's healthlinks.net subsidiary.

The Guild will deploy the MirixaPro(SM) web-based clinical platform, adapted by Mirixa Corporation for the Australia market, and made available under a nationwide license. Its first phase of deployment will bring to market programs designed to improve medication adherence and outcomes by harnessing both technology and the power of the pharmacist-patient relationship.
