log Corporation, an OEM manufacturer of turnkey electronic equipment. In 1987, deciding to concentrate in the medical field, Frank and a partner formed Meditron Devices to market directly to hospitals and gastroenterologists. They merged Meditron with Xylog, which pursued private label OEM medical contracts in all medical specialties.

In 1992, the company was sold to BEI Electronics, a San Francisco-based public company, to serve as the foundation for BEI's entry into the medical device industry. Frank became Vice President of R&D for that venture and was responsible for the development of all new products.

The holder of numerous patents, Frank received both B.S. and Masters degrees in electrical engineering from the City College of New York.
