Millstone Medical Outsourcing Expands Inspection Services Division, Hires Inspection Manager

FALL RIVER, Mass., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Millstone Medical Outsourcing announced today that the company recently expanded its inspection services division by adding state-of-the-art equipment, increasing inspection staff, and hiring a new inspection manager. Millstone acquired two new 30" comparators, one of which is equipped with a 5X lens; a 14" comparator; a vision system; and a micro-hite. With the new advanced equipment, Millstone is able to further tailor inspections to customer specifications. The company's force of well-trained inspectors increased to 25 and is proficient in running coordinate measuring machines with the latest software (PC DMIS). Finally, the company hired Paul Lemelin, with 20 years of quality management experience, as Inspection Manager. Millstone, outsource partner to the industry's top orthopedic companies, is the fast-growing provider of aftermarket services, start-up solutions, and premier contract packaging services for medical device manufacturers worldwide.
